Vintage Native American Carved Stone Rock Indian Head Chief Signed Symbols

Item was acquired at an estate in Iowa. Only similar piece was Chief Ojibwe Tribe in MN. I cannot identify the symbols on the bottom, but almost looks like JBC.
There are discoloration on the rock along with scuffs, scratches and chips.

It measures approx 4 inches tall x 6.25 x 4.75.
