Items come from an estate and appear to be mismatched. The mortar is a bronze color, but the inside is worn to a silver color. It is quite heavy, so whatever metal it is it is solid. The foot on the postal is lopsided and uneven. The mortar measures approx 4.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide. The pestle is approx 7 inches tall and feels of solid brass.
