The clock requires a C battery. The clock works. It is very ornate with a gold metal filigree framing the clock. It is discolored with age. There are discolorations on the brown clock which I am not sure if it is intentional. There is a small dent on the face of the clock along with scuffs and scratches. There are what appear to be water marks on the very back board. There are some gaps on the pointed ends. On the backside there is glued wood to keep the clock from scuffing your wall. I am not sure if they are original. The clock measures approx 28.5 x 17.75 x 2.5 inches.
