Stunning piece is very ornate. I am not sure what the metal is. It is dense and sturdy. There are lions feet along the bottom where it meets the base, and cherub heads along the top. The base stands a little over 6 inches tall x just under 3 inches. The paperweight is approx 2.75 inches tall x 3. Together they stand approx 8 inches tall.
There is minor wear such as scuffs, scratches, and discolorations to the base. The paperweight has also has scuffs, scratches, and small chips from resting in the metal base.
