Stunning piece comes from an estate in Iowa City, Iowa. I am not positive of the origin or age of this piece.
One handle is chipped and worn from the bamboo handle. Some chips to the bottom - it may have been mounted to something. There is also discolorations, wear, and small chips. Piece may require additional cleaning.
Item appears to be glazed in areas, where it ran to the inside and bottom.
The vessel itself stands approx 8 inches tall. With the bamboo handle (which does not lay down) it stand approx 14 inches tall. Handle to handle it measures approx 10.5 inches x 8.5. The top of the jar is just under 5 inches.
